Here is how Restore Ukraine is unique and different from other nonprofit organizations

Restore Ukraine has full control of humanitarian operations on the ground.

Unlike many nonprofit organizations, we do not transfer donated funds to third parties to conduct field operations. We fully recognize that once those funds are allocated to another organization, we are no longer in control of how that money is used and validity checkpoints are no longer possible. That’s where the fraud comes into play, leaving donors uncertain that their money will go where it’s needed most. Instead, all of Restore Ukraine’s on-ground programs are executed by our own team members, leaving no room for inefficient allocation of money. We monitor, measure, and evaluate our own quality initiatives, which other organizations can’t do when they delegate operations to third parties.

Our organization also has the flexibility to quickly implement new programs that tackle the residents’ immediate needs without depending on outside facilitators. While other nonprofits may not meet the performance metrics and standards set by the fundraising parent organization, Restore Ukraine and its team can enforce corrective actions immediately, without any delays from the hierarchy models. We already know how to serve the residents of Eastern Ukraine—we’re there on the ground every single day—so nobody else can do it better than us. Because local residents trust us, so can our donors.

Restore Ukraine is fully committed to putting every dollar you donate to good use—wherever it’s needed most.

We are actively working on our operations model to provide maximum impact for every $1 donated and give our donors the most tangible experience. We take great pride in our financial efficiency—our administrative and fundraising costs are less than 5 cents per $1. That means 95% of our revenue goes to direct humanitarian and crisis relief aid for the people of Ukraine. We know that no donor wants to pay for the large overhead and administrative costs that take money away from people in need.

To learn how nonprofits allocate their money, you can simply look at their annual reports and 990 tax forms. You will be amazed to discover that many humanitarian organizations providing relief support have overhead and administrative expenses that leave a much smaller portion of funds for distribution to people in need. For our donors, we make sure to maximize the funds available for international relief and development services. We know that trust is hard to deserve, and we will not sacrifice it when the Ukrainian lives are at stake.
